Republican party candidate Ted cruz, has dropped out of the presidential race, this coming after the primaries in Indiana was lost again to Donald Trump. Thereby making Donald Trump the winner of the republican party ticket. John Kasich who is distant 3rd with only one state has refused to back down.
The GOP results stands at: Donald Trump won with 53.3%, Ted Cruz 36.7% and John Kasich had 7.5%.
Elsewhere Bernie Sanders won the votes at Indiana with 52.7% while Hilary Cliton has 47.3%.
Hilary Clinton is still ahead of Bernie Sanders in the race but its a fight to finish.
